Hi there,

are there any metalrelated places to visit in Vienna? My girlfriend and me are there from 18th to 23rd of October.
Would be great if someone could tell us some great places to visit.

Thanks

Try to make it the TOTEM recordstore by any means. You don`t have the chance to visit a shop like this too often. The shop is run by the founder of Pungent Stench. Besides everything Metal he also has a huge selection of Industrial/EBM/Ambient on offer. Books, Dvds etc. as well.

He has a webpage:

Regards

There was a place down at the Donau, which was some sort of independent-club, not really Metal, but cool as well. What was the name again?

And I remember a concert-place called Arena, more Punk-HC, saw Raised Fist there, good atmosphere.

Ah, yes, exactly, the Flex.

It's about 8 years ago since I was there, was ok to drink something there.

The perfect place to be!

Just kidding, I didn't noticed that. In my eyes, Vienna has not that much junkies at all, at least I didn't noticed them. There were some beggars here and there, but they were not annoying at all. When I think of Vienna, I remember Sissy, a lot of sugar (the real one, not the brown) and good coffee.
