Best price I've found in Germany is 18,50 Euro / approx. $28 for 50 sleeves. Quite pricey compared to standard sleeves, but as said I think they're totally worth the price as it just doesn't make any sense to me to spend a lotta money on records, but saving on supplies like a record player or protective sleeves. Dunno 'bout US stores though. Sorry.

I've acquired a couple of those curvy sleeves in trades, etc, and I really like them. i don't think the inner sleeve matters enough to replace mine though.

This is interesting because these newer paper sleeves are sometimes thick but are cut in a way there's often small bits of paper cuts on the record. The plastic sleeves of decent quality are better for this. I'd rather pay for these when buying a record than a for a pin I'll never wear on my jacket.

I do agree that the South-American plastic sleeves evoked before suck. Cogumelo's ones were quite OK IMO.

Oh, no, I was wrong. What was this South-American label that used thicker plastic sleeves ? Dies Irae maybe ?

I'm too lazy now to check my collection...

I use only MoFi Masters Series sleeves. As soon as I get a new record, it comes out of the paper sleeve, gets dusted, cleaned, and goes immediately into one of these. These are fantastic. The size is the most consistent on the market (meaning they always fit into jackets, at least in my personal experience), they are fairly priced, and they take up less space than paper sleeves which puts less stress on the jacket. This is especially ideal for when you have a printed sleeve and want to keep the printed sleeve in the jacket after swapping out to one of these. They are non-scratching and non-static. Here is a link from where I get mine:

Wow, what a nerdy thread Laughing you act like records are baseball cards! Then again my gf is very anal about her records, all of them need to be in polybags, etc.

Given I'm sure playing the record wears it more than putting it in or out of these plastic/paper sleeves anyway I don't even see a point to worrying about it. After all, records should be played first and foremost anyway.

I've used like 100 of the 2.0s. Never thought a round bottom! Makes a lot of sense actually, I probably will buy those and phase out the 2.0s I have. Cheap Sleevetown pricing, still need to buy more of their Pheonix cleaner.
