| Yeah, I'm not a fan of the format. I buy records to play them, not to display them. I only have the picture discs that came with the Kat and Blasphemy LPs. |

i'll post pics when i unearth my camera, but my favorite pic disc to _look_ at is the one sided 12" ep by The Wild. totally and awesomely ridiculous. from the back cover; "The Wild are guys who like loud rock, having fun, and staying up all night. You know the type, the kind of person who likes fast cars, horror movies and all those house parties. If you're that type of person, then this record is for you, because it's dedicated to metal munchers and headbangers everywhere." the record is actually a fun listen too.
the jesus chrust "i'm nailed right in" pic 7" is awesome on all fronts.
i have a crappy disco 12" by wilding/bonus that has them standing on these big sandy hills that, upon closer inspection, end up being a bunch of naked ladies. awesome.
abigail/witchburner 10" picture disc is practically the worst piece of shit that i own. truly wretched. avoid.
witches hammer "stretching...." 12" pic disc, i bow before you.
same goes for Black Witchery "upheaval...." pic disc. still need to pick up a regular copy of this before i wear through to the paper.
cult of daath "razor war" is another perfect in every way release.
still hoping to land a meatshits pic disc one of these days.
blah, blah, blah. forgive me, just got off work and am very happy about it. |

pic LPs are okay. i prefer to get black or colored vinyl, but i don't hate them. i prefer ones with an outer cover. some i really didn't like are the bael/krieg split and haemoth - satanik terrorism (killer album but lame as a pic LP!) the FAOD pic LP is great as is the upheaval of satanic might pic LP.
here's one i'm really looking forward to

I know you can play them, but I don't want to ruin the pictures and it doesn't sound as good as a normal vinyl. |

Mayhem "Freezing moon/Carnage" is my all time favorite pic.LP
killer artwork on the Freezing moon side, and Dead on vocals...
