Yeah, if you check the poster, it says wearetherobots.com which redirects to his site's new URL.

Vuorma has done some great covers, A.R.G. is my favourite.
He used to sell all kinds of Manson/LaVey/etc. cassettes/shirts in early 90s, I still have some of his flyers/lists in here.

Ah, those are awesome. I always forget the stuff he's done, like his works for lame bands such as Kalmah which are still great.

This would make a nice cover:

Very Happy

Thanks for mentioning Vuorma. And I'm totally with you on this, Kari, as the wonderfully mystic cover he did for Arthemesia's "Devs - Iratvs" falls into the very same category "great art, lahaaaaaaaaaaaaame band". It goes without saying that Crimson Relic is my favourite. Totally fits "Purgatory's Reign". And now some label pluck up courage to give Crimson Relic and Divine Eve the long overdue vinyl honours, please.

Off-topic and I may succumb just my bad memory here, but could you guys please point me at more metal related art by Lionel Baker. I just love the "Mournful Cries" cover and wanna see more. Thanks.

Speaking of cool art, I finally found my Watain poster from their 2008 North American run. I believe there were only like 40 of these, maybe 50.

Definitely want to frame it. Best show I've been to I think.

nah...Its more like 100-150. I've got one as well. It should be numbered in silver pen near the bottom I believe, or possibly on the back

Very nice thread!
I can add Theodor Kittelsen, a Norwegian Romantic painter.
His paintings were used e.g. by Burzum for the cover of „Hvis Lyset Tar Oss“ and „Filosofem“.
More examples and information on:

Btw: Does anybody know, who was the painter of Bathory's "Blood Fire Death"-Cover?
