OK - understanding that the electro is becoming a slightly controversial subject on here - will keep this to one subject per artist to keep it simple. For now, this is all on the electro front besides Perturbator and GosT, so hopefully 3 subjects is manageable for those of you who don't like the electro. But this should very much appeal to Perturbator fans.

Blood Music is extremely proud to announce to its roster – Dan Terminus!

Hailing from the legendary land of the binary masters, this actionwave artist from central France has arrived triumphantly and quickly to the underground retrosynth scene. While still relatively obscure in the electro underground, Terminus's steady output (three albums and one EP completed within his first year of action!) has seen an *incredible* growth in his melodic canon with every single new release, leading up to the launch of his latest and greatest album, “The Wrath of Code.”

Each new work has seen Terminus's mastery progress five-fold, and with “The Wrath of Code,” he has finally arrived to challenge the contemporary masters in the genre. Referencing the melodic ingenuity of Perturbator, mixed with the raw aggression of Gost, and a dose of incomparable hyperactivity - “The Wrath of Code” is perhaps the first thoroughly masterful synthwave action film score to a movie that never existed.

“The Wrath of Code” was released for a few days through Bandcamp but heard by us and immediately went into harsh repeat mode, so we worked out an arrangement with Terminus to aid in a full digital release (Bandcamp, iTunes, Spotify, etc.), hoping to garner enough interest leading up to an eventual physical release of this amazing album.

We will be digitally releasing the record through our own channels in the next few weeks in order to get people to listen to this incredible work, hopefully garnering enough attention to make it to a cassette, CD, and eventually vinyl release.

That's awesome. Vinyl is what I look for and I hope to see a release of his in the future. The Wrath of Code is a great album, listened to it as much as I could while it was still on Bandcamp.

Reaction is very good on this so far. Wouldn't doubt a physical pressing in the future when there's space in the roster.

The Artwork = Top-Notch!
The Music = The complete album is ravenous, with slower/more ambient tracks, but also with ones full with robotic rage.

DAN TERMINUS belongs in the same clan of Retro Electronic wizardry as the names CARPENTER BRUT, PERTURBATOR and GosT. Although DT is more Chiptune and Sci-Fi soundwise.

(A lot of) Vinyl please!

I get your point...
- SlasherWave... I guess that was a term Bloood Music came up to describe and differentiate GosT Horror/80's American Slasher flicks sound from the others.
- ActionWave... Same thing, but to differentiate DAN TERMINUS more Sci-Fi/Futuristic/Action(?) from the flock of all the SynthWave underground micro-genre.
I guess you can put the Big Four (of this micro-genre) all in the SynthWave tag.

But Chiptune is a real musical sub-genre, VideoGames 8-bit Music, kind of old one. This simple (most of the time not noticed music) was important to the development of what you hear today. Take a peek here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chiptune

Timecop 1983 has a massive 80's synth influence.

It has to be set up - will do so likely end of this week. It has no effect until next pre-order goes live, so not to worry! It will be done on time and there will be an information e-mail.

Thanks!

Here's "Eternal Annihilator" - one of the very few restrained tracks on the album:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVMLzexr8kU

Will be released digitally in a week-and-a-half. Name Your Own Price on Bandcamp, plus via iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Google, Deezer, etc.

If reaction is strong, it will make it to physical form!
