Looking forward to Rotting Christ, I was supposed to see them at Legacy Open Air this summer and that got cancelled so this is great news. I've heard some good and bad things about Svart Crown, are they any good, and where shall I start with them...

Yep. Positive side of this is that I can watch Rotting Christ play, then go home without having to hear Belphegor.

Belphegor has some decent albums and music... unfortunately none of that will be heard probably on this tour Laughing

Rotting Christ will be awesome, personally I am on board with their entire discography as being elite perfection.

Rotting Christ are second only to Darkthrone as being one of the best bm bands. That being said the Suffocation tour is playing 7 days after this, I dont want to choose Crying or Very sad.

I'd pick Rotting Christ over Suffocation/Kataklysm any day... unless its 20 years ago, then that's a tough pick. Or just go to both...

Early and later RC are awesome, but I have a hard time understanding how anyone can overlook those embarrassing gothic metal-influenced albums in the middle.

I don't think they're embarrassing at all. I'll take Khronos, Genesis or Sanctus Diavolos over the last album any day of the week.

I honestly don't get the hate for the mid period. I can see the case for Sleep of the Angels being a bit gothy, but I still pick up on the same melancholic vibe from the early albums on it. Khronos is mostly great, and Dead Poem isn't far removed from Triarchy at all (just not as good).

Haven't heard the last one yet, but Aealo bored me to tears. Theogonia was great, though.

The Rotting Christ facebook page flyer has three earlier dates for the tour and I assume those dates will have the same lineup as the OP.
