Money has been tight and I've haven't had the chance to keep up with current onslaught of new releases so I haven't had the chance to buy this yet.

How is the sound compared to previous pressings?

That's a good question that I'd like answered. Also I seem to recall The Crypt having plans for pressing it on LP and was listed on their upcoming roster but is no longer on their list... I wonder if this is still on, and also wonder if they plan bringing Scenario IV - Dead Dreams to wax (being the last Cacophonous release and oop for a decade now).

Oh, I see. Are they planning on releasing Scenario IV as well? If not, someone should jump on it.

They'll all probably gonna get their vinyl release. The thing I hope, is that Imaginary Sonicscape release will be the original version. I like the original mastering better (it was alright in the first place), had no lead cut out, and while the bonus tracks were great, not that essential, they're still bonus tracks.

Yeah we wanted Scorn Defeat but enucleation had the deal already when we asked the band about it, so we are doing Infidel Art, Hail Horror Hail and Ghastly Funeral Theatre.

I know that this was mentioned in some other thread, but as I don't bother searching it now; what was the schedule for this one?

Probably early next year as we have many releases ahead of it, but the other 2 Sigh LPs, Infidel Art and Ghastly Funeral Theatre are our next 2 upcoming releases.

Since Ghastly Funeral Theater & Infidel Art are next up in the queue, it would probably be sometime in 2010, I would imagine... Maybe he has a definitive date though.

Ah... lol, nvm the redundant post.

Well. a lot has to do with the band getting me the necessary source materials. Once Mirai gets me the info on the cover, I will track down an original Ukiyo-e print for the LP version like we did for the other 2 upcoming releases.

Sounds awesome, 2010 should be great early on. I'm excited for the progress of the Uncanny LP as well... do you know which release you'll be pairing it with on release day or is it too early to tell?

It is too early to tell, but, it is possible that after the SIGH LPs, the next pair will be Epitaph and Authorize and I have everything I need for them now. Uncanny still need liner notes from Fred, and for Crypt of Kerberos, still waiting on a high res full scan of the demo cover + World of Myths lyrics from the band, otherwise, we have everything.

Scorn Defeat reissue on Enucleation sounds just like the original press. It has some bonus tracks from the old ep and split with Kawir.

It'd be nice if Crypt of Kerberos and Uncanny all sent in the remaining source materials at the same time and went to production together. Two brilliant 3 LP sets released at the same time would be amazing.
