This made me go , I am sure some other here are into the band as well - thie EP material and "In Ancient Beliefs" are great pieces of massive Death Metal with an old Scandinavian edge and a bit of Bolt Throweresque heaviness.

DETERIOROT are currently in the final stage of finishing and mixing their new album "The Faithless". The band started the recording process 7 years ago and the album was unfinished until now. DETERIOROT is ready to sign with Xtreem Music with a release date set for early 2010.

I have some old advance tracks and they sound as crushing as the material on "In Ancient Beliefs" so this should be good! _________________ A nobody in a world of somebodies.

Killer ! I have these adv. tracks as well, though they don't have this crushing guitar sound as "In Ancient Beliefs", which is a monster. But they came close, and they were "just" Adv.tracks, so no final tracks, or final mixes. This will be great stuff for sure. _________________ Tradelist + Good Traders:

You are right, maybe "intense" would be the right word as the production on those adv. tracks was indeed not as thick as on the album.
Now, if Sadistic Intent would... _________________ A nobody in a world of somebodies.

In Ancient Beliefs was awesome. I can't wait to hear what else they come up with. _________________ Helcaraxë - Death Metal

If you're disappointed, then I'll be confused. It is a brilliant album with some pretty crushing, evil sounding songs. Will be whipping it out soon. Also, I hope this upcoming album is as good as "In Ancient Beliefs". |

I have their EP "Manifested Apparitions of Unholy Spirits," which I remember getting at some punk store quite a few years ago (can't remember why I bought it either, must have been the cover). Anyway, this thread reminded me of it, so I put it on last night and it's alright. Nothing special. Has a nice atmosphere to it but the songs needed some work. |
