if this kinda thing bugs you then make sure NOT to look at the back cover of the helvetets port 7". i haven't looked at it since i threw it in the fire (my trade pile), but if my memory serves correct there's some spandex in there and a rising sun headband. hohohoho!!!!

personally, live, i don't mind some stage get ups. it's a lot more fun to watch than a band that looks like a bunch of computer programmers or whatever. i remember my friend dragging me to see agalloch and aside from just sucking shit in general, they were wearing, like, sweaters and button downs. ugh.

remember it IS a performance.

if you're gonna dress the part, you should at least play it/MEAN IT!

on line to get into the show i saw some retro dudes get mad at some jokes cracked on Urban Thrash

and Desecrator, i too saw/heard about the guyspace photo shoot taking place in the back -- really gives you an idea of where there mind is at

I'm gonna be seeing Skeletonwitch, Toxic Holocaust and Municipal Waste on Wednesday. I wish we could of gotten Villains out here too, it's in Arlington Heights Wink

I liked Skeletonwitch's first full-length, I didn't like their EP. I can't stand their vocals but I like their thrashy Chuck Schuldiner riffage.

What I meant by retro-thrash is a bunch of fags who dress up like they were in the 80s thrash scene and they start a gay band that sounds like every other wannabe old thrash metal band. In reality they are just a bunch of fukkin' dorks, no different then some faggot who dresses up as his favorite Star Trek character.
