Cales (Cze) - quiet Blood On Ice like on their The Pass In Time CD
Deathwitch - Dawn Of Armageddon CD/Triumphant Devastation CD (total s/t worship)
Macabre Omen - especially The Ancient Returns, epic Bathory-like stuff
Malign - Fireborn 7"
Megiddo from Canada has lots of Bathory influences in the sound
Morbid Insulter - Thundering Evil MLP: Bathory mixed with lots of Nifelheim _________________ Tradelist + Good Traders:

My Morrigan and Megiddo collections are on their own, I respect and love those bands way more than just Bathory worship bands. I have the Macabre Omen already, haven't even opened the fucker so I'm glad I can add that to the list. Thanks, this is alot of stuff to track down now!

It depends on which period you're talking about! But regardless, there will be an overload of bands with that influence. It's almost like asking for bands that sound like Motorhead or Black Sabbath, except that Bathory evolved (or at least changed) constantly and inspired different bands with each change. This is somewhat true for Sabbath also.
Anyway, as for Bathory, iif you want s/t sound, look to Goatfire and Nifelheim. For The Return sort of sound, I recommend first Black Witchery LP. For Blood Fire Death era, nothing I've heard comes closer than Iuvenes "When Heroes Will Rise". A bit later (Nordic albums) and you should check out Hades (first 2 LPs), later Graveland, Summoning, etc. |

I completly forgot about Summoning. I am looking for more along the lines of S/T - Blood Fire Death, but I do enjoy their later "Viking" stuff so in the end it doesn't really matter. Which Goatfire do you suggest? I just ordered "Sacrophobic Initiation", and the cover looks straight out of the Grand Belial's Key discog. _________________ Pure Stench Forums: Noise, Power Electronics, Noisecore, Metal, etc. |

EIDOMANTUM " OLD BLOOD "
In a more speedy way with some obvious Maiden influences
Which gives by the way a fucking killer demo , and a fucking killer band .... _________________ "When you see the children with x's on their head, if you dare to look at them, soon you will be dead." |

I mis-spoke, Hellfire is the band I was thinking of. The album is on No Colours and it's called "Into Fire". |

I already have that one, but it's a must have for anyone else who wishes to gather a Bathory collection with Worship bands.
I own the EIDOMANTUM - From The Tomb Of All Evil, which doesn't really sound much like Bathory, at least to my ears. Is "Old Blood" any different? _________________ Pure Stench Forums: Noise, Power Electronics, Noisecore, Metal, etc. |

I think 90% of the Black Metal band sound and/or have similar to Bathory.. anyway, check Incarnator (Nor), one only demo and promo track, which is the most Bathory-cloned band ever, in fact it was the project of one only member .. there is nothing more Bathory than that _________________ cry out for metal |
