Grave: You'll never see

This has the be the first time I've seen anyone pick YNS over Into The Grave! YNS is still pretty killer though!

+ 1 for me even if "into the grave" is as just essential, anyway.

Count me in. Although my favourite Grave stuff is the ...And Here I Die... Satisfied EP. That one's perfect!

Well, A Descent Into Hell IS total Death/Doom!

I have a hard time tracking down a copy of The Dying Truth, it should be re-released.

Death - Scream Bloody Gore
From start til the very end.. Total addictive riffing with gory and haunting vocals!! Maybe the best vocals ever!! Crushing songs with many hooks!
Morbid Angel - Altars Of Madness
The songwriting of these guys was beyond this life... This album is FLAWLESS! Trey channels the incantations of satan himself through his guitar!
Repugnant - Epitome Of Darkness
I still cannot believe that this is made in this century. I have praised this album so much that I'm almost tired of it.. The praising I mean. Vocals are from beyond the grave and the guitar sound is horrific. The lyrics are astonishing as well.. Flawless!!!!!!!!!
Possessed - Seven Churches
Definitely started it all. Most crushing and heaviest release of that year. Killer.

Disagree about putting Repugnant on this list. They're good, but not worthy of being mentioned in this list. I can think of at least 20 other albums that should be on this list before Repugnant. Incantation and Bolt Thrower for example.

I know this forum leans more towards black metal, but damn, I don't get people praising Repugnant even above actual classics.
