SHADOW KINGDOM RECORDS to reissue
THE HAND OF DOOM's 'Poisonoise' album with bonus tracks
SHADOW KINGDOM RECORDS is planning to reissue Germany's THE HAND OF DOOM's 'Poisonoise' album, both in CD and 2xLP format, and with bonus tracks.
A posting on the official record label's website about the reissue reads: "'Who in the Hell is THE HAND OF DOOM?' you ask? They’re an incredible heavy band from Germany that originally had a limited press album in 1979. A Heavy Rock N’ Roll band -- no Doom at all in their music -- that are very similar to the early bands of the NWOBHM movement who took early Punk Rock and fused it with Heavy Rock. This band will appeal to fans of 70’s-era MOTORHEAD, DISCHARGE, BRATS (pre-MERCYFUL FATE band), MC5, THE STOOGES, THE CLASH, SEX PISTOLS, SARCOFAGUS, ACCEPT, 70’s-era JUDAS PRIEST and DIAMOND HEAD. This is a very unique sounding band. This release will come with 11 bonus tracks on the 180 gram double vinyl (some unreleased) in January and 10 bonus tracks (some unreleased) on the CD version, as per request of the band, this December."
Check out two of their songs on Youtube.com:

With a band that ugly, it has to be good! Seriously, sounds like a great release... I'll be on the lookout. |

I can't tell you how mighty the master of the original album turned out. You guys are going to be blown away by the sound. It sounds like a new band playing 70's.
OUT NOW! The Double CD is now available.
I don't think Yosuke is going to stock this either. _________________ http://www.shadowkingdomrecords.com/ |
