Personally I don't like anything Death did after Leprosy, but bitching a dead man, especially just for the fact that he started to write worse music after a couple of GREAT albums, is fuckin' retarded. Not that I'm surprised to see Endless Morbidity bullshiting here, I kinda got used to see this "I hate Lex but I really try to replace him here" attitude... _________________ Infernal Rock N' Roll: WWW.INFERNALROCKNROLL.BANDCAMP.COM

I like every Death album to some degree at least. Spiritual Healing, Symbolic and the last one I don't mind that much. Others are top notch if you ask me. _________________ Heyyy |

There is a difference between speaking your mind and purposely trying to get peoples goat.
I must laugh at so-called Death Metal fans that mourn the lives of people they never met. Especially so-called Death Metal pioneers that wore t-shirts with kittens on them and had a reputation for being a despised prick when he was alive. |

I like the music, but I don’t know about Chuck as a person.
Eisregen did a cover of “Born Dead” on “Farbenfinsternis”. Might be interesting for those who don’t hate the band. |

Despised by whom, except for Kam Lee?... _________________ Infernal Rock N' Roll: WWW.INFERNALROCKNROLL.BANDCAMP.COM

Valid point I fully agree with.
Still, what I don't get is that you seem to mix up your anger towards bands or single band members -who you've never met in persona as well i guess- with your overall and admittedly justified aversion to scenesters and wannabe sickos. Let's skip back to that Dimebag thing, just for instance. I may have missed your point there, but after reading all your mocking it felt like you're more upset about your colleagues who treated him like THE virtuoso while neglecting your faves as crap. I hardly doubt that was Dimebag's fault, but is owed to the short-sighted minds of your fellas. So what do you really chalk up to Dimebag or Chuck despite of being part of a band you don't like or wearing a stupid shirt or having dull fans?
To make that perfectly clear. I'm on your side and can't stand Pantera and alike as well and honestly I've never been that much into Death either, but I just don't understand the carry-over from fans to bands. What's next? So we all have to get rid of our At the Gates stuff only coz' of a bunch of "Deathcore" kiddies who decided to pocket the Swedes as well? Damn, At the Gates is connected to Grotesque. Shit, better we throw away our "Incantation" vinyl along. Or should we all get mad at Repugnant and Watain for pictures like that?

I hate Pantera.
I love Death.
I don't like it when anyone dies in a band
regardless of my music tastes.
Wearing a kitty cat shirt shows the fact that
the guy didn't give a fuck what anyone thought.
If we put camera's on these "real" bands we might see them
taking out the trash in their spongebob footie jammies.
Don't know if he was an asshole as I never met him and I don't listen to former bandmates whining. |

Those who piss on the parades of those who mourn their inappropriately titled "martyrs" are just as fucking annoying as them. |

Great album. Aside from Sadus, one of the only records you ever hear Steve Digorgio's bass on. |

- ha / ive been saying this for years. its fuckin amazing / pathetic really -
- these are the same people that bash someone for liking CRADLE OF FILTH for example, yet, when one of their "satanic" heroes dies [ yes, i know Chucky wasnt satanic, but still ], they cry like little bitches... "why did this happen to you?", "youll be missed", "see you in valhalla", "see you in hell", "save me a seat at your left", blah blah blah - _________________ - [ ABHORER / http://abhorerundead.webs.com/ ] -
