Got this today.

I'm a little disapointed that it's about 15mins in length not the 'over 30 mins' as advertised - it's a 45prm 10-inch.

Is the material any good, or is it practically the same as the last one?

I haven't tried it but it's supposed to be 2 grooves (parallel if I am not mistaken) so whatever time you found x 2 matey
Hope this helps !

It is possible I suppose. Do not let the needle fall into the first groove track that tracks to the centre, drop needle into the second groove track that would follow parallel to centre.

A groove on a vinyl is a spiral from outside to center right ? If I follow this idea properly anyways. Embarassed

you got it ! that's exactly how it works. The tugkat was a reverse groove and this one is a parallel. If you look closely you can see there are two different grooves on the edge you just need to pick the one you want to play Wink

Interesting. Is there a way they could have parallel grooves that played in opposite directions?

on side "seytan" there are only minor musical differences and it was really painful to find out which groove it was playing at the moment..

Does it sound like the Man & Jinn stuff or noise?

I gave the whatever groove on the first side a shot and it sounded like a muddy mess of shitstorm
I will put it out 2 months later and like it all of sudden like the MLP before

It sounds similar to Man and Jinn except it has more noise/ambient elements with it. It's sounds not to bad. Havent played the 2nd side yet.

That parallel groove thing is pretty interesting. I got the 10" in the mail yesterday, played it and only heard the ambient/noise stuff. I was a bit annoyed because i was hoping to hear something with more substance. If i wanted to hear Dark Ambience/Noise etc.. i would put on some BDN or Anenzephalia etc... But after reading this and playing it again i am liking the new 10".

Does having two parallel grooves on a side deter from the sound quality?
