The codex necro is great. Very intense. After that I lost interest because of the poppy influences.

As for Nadja and Jucifer, they are very good live acts!

My old 2 piece Wilde Jacht. We never got past rehearsal recordings:

If you’re interested in buying a classic Slayer album, try “South of Heaven” instead, or if you’re into a more modern, melodic appraoch, go for “Diablous In Musica”. Aviod this one.

The new Jucifer stuff is devastating. I've seen Nadja live a few times by now, one time a delay was broken and fucked up the whole performance.

I remember I had this conversation here before with a norwegian dude, because I thought it's a drum computer. Can't find it on metal archives atm, I think he said it's this Erik drummer dude, who played on other norwegian bm records too. So who/what's the drummer? If it really was Abbath, hats off!

It's known that Abbath did play the drums for that album, but were they sped up like people say they were? Or was that Battles In The North.

It's Pure Holocaust, the accusation is that the drums were sped up by 40 %. As far as I've seen, the band has always denied this and I haven't seen any other proof of the drums having been sped up either. What I find interesting is that even though Abbath drummed on both PH and BITN, the drumming is clearly worse on BITN. I wonder what happened.

Riki Lindhome and Kate Micucci aka Garfunkel & Oates. A great comedy duo:

Here's Skogen zine interview that has a question or two about the drumming and speedlimits.

Yeah, that's what I too have read about the matter. I just wonder why Abbath's drumming is as shaky as it is on BITN. The speed is the same as on PH but he's less precise.
