yeah man, its gotta be a bootleg. there's not too many Posion Idea boots to begin with.
MRR zine did a cool "Bootleg Special" in one of there issues back in 1990 or 91', cant remember. But there was a couple cool P.I. 7" boots in the feature. Mostly live stuff.
Not to get off the subject abit, but Im still lookin for old STOOGES boots!
some 7"'s and 12 inchers.
well my friend, keep listening to the classic 80's punk/hc!

No, it's NOT a bootleg. It's the super limited edition of the latest album that Farewell Records did.
Poison Idea fucking rules. |

I only have Feel the Darkness and I most certainly need more Poison Idea as I can firmly say that its one of the best albums I have ever heard. Indeed I need to spin it now! |

Get the "Best of Poison Idea" CD that Taang! Records put out, it has the first 7", 12" and LP. Really savage shit, but not as "rock" sounding as "Feel the Darkness." Regardless, these fat-asses are one of the best hc bands ever. |

P.I. played in Austin TX a couple of times & a friend of mine had to score heroin and speed for Pig Champion! He told me Jerry A was bigger than Pig & couldn't drink anymore. I'm a long-time P.I. fan too and for the life of me, can't remember why I missed them. One time, I think, there was a rare icestorm so couldn't drive down.
"Kings of Punk" is my fave LP & the "Just to get away" 7". They ripped me off on one of their Am.Leather 7"'s; never sent it nor replied to letters. "Record collectors..." is great too (I've heard stories of kids rushing into PDX rec stores after Pig selling his colelction). |

In all honesty the few times I saw them they sucked total ass. Granted it was about 4-5 years ago and thus close to 15 years past their expiration date but fuck they were awful!

Yeah "Kings Of Punk" is their best IMO but "War All The Time" is great too and a lot more metal. |
