How can you not like Rape Humanity With Pride and Dark Night of The Soul?

The number of riffs don't mean anything if there is nothing to remember about them. |

Ordo Ad Chao is a album i enjoyed instantly. One of the better black metal albums of recent years. Attila's vocals are outstanding. _________________ "If noise means uncomfortable sound. Then pop is noise to me" - Masami Akita. |

OaC is better than 99.9% of BM records released since DMDS. It's a stone cold classic. _________________ ANUNG UN RAMA, SANCTI AB JURA

Mediolanum Capta Est is a quite good live album but the dark aura of the early days is totally missing imo. _________________ THE END IS NEAR! LUCIFER'S LEGIONS OF DEATH ARE READY FOR ATTACK.

It's a shame that while Mayhem's post classic era is by far the best of the huge Norwegian bands out there. Really don't understand how shit like late Emperor or Darkthrone gets more appreciated, but on the other hand it shouldn't be that surprising given that most people don't even care about music in their righteous boycott of Mayhem without Euronymous.
WLA is my favourite, Ordo Ab Chao is great too. I actually like the performance of Maniac on WLA as well. |

The only good MAYHEM songs are the studio tracks with Dead. The rest doesn't interest me very much. So none of the above. |

Mayhem Mach II has always been a seperate entity as far as I'm concerned and a pretty shite one at that. |

You must be stupid or numb to art.
DMDS is to me one of the most defining albums of the whole black metal genre. I don't like to call albums mandatory since everything is subjective. But if call yourself a black metal fan and still think that the few studio tracks with Dead are the only interesting Mayhem stuff you should reconsider listening to music at all. |

Was the rehearsal recording of the track "Anno Vampyr" ever featured on any of the bootlegs? |

I don't understand how anyone can dislike Chimera. Definitely my favorite post-DMDS release. |

What I came to say has already been perfectly articulated:

but yet...

Completely new band unrelated to the original topic that put out an absolutely stellar release with a great lineup. |
