I'm very glad to have my IQ downgraded down to neanderthal levels while listening to Eternal Flame of Hate. Harsh bands like Armatus, Wehrhammer and SSOW are not for everyone and it's a good thing.

definitely will give those bands a listen then.

Moonblood only started to get taken seriously when Judas Iscariot started acting like they were Mayhem. I had a long contact with Gaamalzagoth in the middle 1990s and I never liked their music that much, but he was a nice guy.

What are the Morke guys upto nowadays?

Maybe this is blasphemy to some people, but I always thought Germany had the best bands, and that's truer today than ever before.

If speak of Kreator, Sodom, Destruction then ok, speak of wise thing for true. If black metal you must have madman syndicate!

Also, back then was so hard to get music of Moonblood, create so grim, so rainbow mystique that must be best ever music made not by Wagner (not Sarcofago one) Laughing

Yes, very similar to early Graven (no surprise). Two essential bands.

I've always wondered if their "Die Erben des Bosen" album actually was released in 1993 or not (sort of like with Kanwulf/Nargaroth and the alleged 1993 "Herbstleyd" demo). Dont't remember them being mentioned anywhere in zines from that period. Does anybody know?

I'm really not a fan of the symphonic side of black metal, but Cryogenic always struck me by the lyrical content, one of the very few German bands being able to link to poets like Benn or Hesse.
