I haven't taken this thing out of my car or home stereo for 13 days. Any small criticisms I felt upon first listen are out the window now... I don't think this album could be any better for me. It really comes alive with headphones and the lyrics in front of you, and I'm normally a guy who couldn't care less about lyrics one way or the other. I don't hear anything awkward or forced, this album just flows perfectly from one passage/song to the next . It really is a grower, as well and there is a lot to take in that is hidden on first listens. The vocals are far beyond what he's done before... Most likely this will be my album of the year.

Exactly this. Daily listening, sometimes twice. This is really something special, and I'm sorry for the people that don't get it. Truly something that will last.

In what seems like a never ending supply of albums that are good for a few listens, then get filed on the shelf and rarely pulled out again, this is one that will certainly stand the test of time for me at least. My only worry is that I will burn myself out on this album Smile Going to see them tonight and I'll buy the vinyl at the show if they have it, then I'll get a few spins in before giving it a rest for a while (hopefully).

Oh yes. It is a very good album.
I have ordered it on vinyl But haven't recieved it yet. So right now I'm streaming the album. I fear to burn myself out on This album as Well, before i even own it.

I'd also like to see In Solitude live. And they are certainly in good company with Watain and Tribulation considering they Both have released killer records this year. I missed their only concert in Sweden This year.

Very, very good album. My favorite tracks are Death Knows Where, Sister, Lavender and Inmost Nigredo. I think this album is a small step forward since the last one which I also really liked. They have a very unique sound. Recently saw them live as opening act for Watain and they were great live as well.

Despite shit sound (basically all drums and vocals, very hard to hear the guitars), In Solitude was really great here last night, definitely the best of the 4 times I've seen them, and they totally blew away Tribulation before them. Bassist and guitarist seemed very surprised and appreciative to see my friends and I up front screaming lyrics to the new songs !

Set list was :
Demons
Lavender
We Were Never Here
Death Knows Where
To Her Darkness
Sister
Witches Sabbath

... I was really hoping for A Buried Sun, which they played earlier in the tour, but we got Death Knows Where instead and it was killer.

I'd like to hear A Buried Sun as well, but the above set is very good, especially Demons. I've been waiting to hear that song and breathlessly sing/scream every word. Death Knows Where will be GREAT live as well. I'm so anxious to see them in a few days!

We got there early to eat at the restaurant portion of the venue and were treated to In Solitude running through Death Knows Where twice for their soundcheck in the next room.

Absolutely incredible album, and one of those rare ones that actually gets better the more you listen to it. The heavy goth/post-punk atmosphere makes perfect sense within their sound, and elevates this album to a whole new level. Amazing.

I hear a bit of Garm here and there, too. Especially on the verses of A Buried Sun.

They were ace last night. Danzig is what comes to mind for me, vocal-wise.
