It's pretty obvious that DMDS wins by far.
As for the second place, it's a tie between Sigh and Enslaved.

I'm enjoying the fact I'm knowing I'm the only person who has voted for Abruptum - In Umbra....Alright, to be honest it's not my favorite album from this list, but when I got it it left a big impression on me. Listening to this CD felt like dropping into a different planet....the true audial occult evil! Indeed, and when I heard IT cry "Satan....appear....Satan!?" I maybe even considered that the Master had appeared before IT, the most evil dwarf in the world (supposedly!).

I'll go with the first Burzum coz it's probably the one i listened to the most... Still nothing can beat Merciless when it comes to vile death/thrash.

Or the first Enslaved.

People voting Sigh/Abruptum don't get it. At all.

Not a weak album on there, but DMDS for me. The ABRUPTUM albums are very special for me, some of the first black metal(ish) I ever heard. It doesn't get more demented than those albums.

It would probably be between DMDS and Vikingligr Veldi for me. 'Lifandi liv undir hamri' is so good.

Scorn defeat is one of the most powerful underrated albums in black metal...second place behind DMDS on list for me

The Awakening, probably the heaviest record he put out.... Pure hate.

DMDS is in my top five favorite albums of all time. DSP was a strong label . . .

While I can't deny how utterly important DMDS is (and I do like the album), I've simply gotten more enjoyment out of the first Burzum album, so I had to vote for that.
