Bit late to the party, but fuck this sounds killer!!! Also getting a small Angelcorpse vibe in places - and reminiscent of Throneum for some reason. Very intense and unhinged sounding, packed full of good riffs.

This album is AMAZING! Brutal chaotic yet controlled intensity, crawling, crushing doom riffs, neck-cracking thrashing breaks, eerie and well-placed keys, a truly disturbing discordant penultimate track and then a real epic to finish. These guys really have a great knack for songwriting; they know just when to break up the pace of a song for maximum effectiveness.

I enjoyed the 7", but this is a step BEYOND. Really outstanding.

I find it somehow strange that in the very den of death metal fetishism no one has yet mentioned THE BAND whom 60% of Beyond's debut is paying an evident tribute in a way that noone else so far managed. Weird.

Now that you mention... I do hear Necrovore! Morbid Angel and Angelcorpse are good comparisons as well! Killer album regardless ! Shocked

Necrovore. Its evident from riffing to - most importantly vocals. Even the tall mic setup on the pics is an obvious trace.

Good stuff, first few tracks are fucking aggressive.
Good that the B side has some slower parts. Though I must admit that by the end of the album my attention lowers a bit...

Really good album indeed. I was especially impressed that they were able to pull off a massive 12 minute long track, hell if anything it might be the best track on the album!
