It is still open, although I haven't been there in several years. I think the last show I saw there was Megadeth and Testament.

There are a lot of small venues, now, where both touring and local bands play. And, of course, the Masquerade.

Good to hear; I always thought that place had killer sound. I think the last show I saw there was Sick of it All + Slayer (crappy gig though). We used to drive down from TN sometimes to see shows there or at The Masquerade, and some other place in ritzy Buckhead that I can't remember the name of.

Very exciting news to me, at least: Boris Records just announced that a new Spewtilator 7" has been sent off to be pressed. These are five songs from the same recording sessions as the Inhale Awaits tracks.

Among them is the mighty "Goat Thrower".

There are faint rumblings that Spewtilator is reactivating. That remains to be seen.

Death of Kings' Knifehammer 7" is now available for order at Boris Records website. Death of Kings play traditional heavy metal, tinged with thrash.

There are a handful of Mangled's Sewer Metal 7" left available in purple. They will be gone soon.

The latest Spewtilator release, Goat Thrower, is now available at the Boris Records webshop. The 5-song EP is on 7" vinyl and contains four original songs and a cover of ZEKE's "Let's Get Drugs". The first 100 copies will come with a Spewtilator button and perhaps a little something extra. Want to sample before you buy? You can hear the record at the Boris Records Bandcamp page.

Also, NWN! and Dark Descent Records have the last copies of Mangled's Sewer Metal on purple vinyl. Once these are gone, there will be no more.

Boris Records will be releasing it's first 12" vinyl on April 20 by Gunpowder Gray. One hundred will be released on colored vinyl. This band shares members with Disfigurement and this record will be for fans of Thin Lizzy. I'm expecting that this will be BR008.

I received confirmation today from Boris Records that the Spewtilator record will also ship with a 3"x5" woven logo patch, while supplies last.

Thanks go to YK for his assistance with the patches.

Yeah, Tabernacle is still around. Haven't been there in over a decade (Slayer in 2001). It was evacuated last week in the middle of a show when the floor started moving.

It's only a matter of time until The Masquerade collapses, that place is a death trap/Great White in the making.

Heard about this today. Sounds like Panic! At The Disco almost became Panic! At The Tabernacle. I understand that the fire marshal was on hand because the band wanted to use some pyro and just happened to catch the fact that the floor was coming apart.
