Those are pretty good "socially aware" lyrics, if you ask me. Very Happy

Everything up to and including Handle with Care absolutely destroys. I mentioned "Game Over" in the gateway thread....it's still one of my favorite metal lps. I saw them at the Penny Arcade in Rochester NY about eight years ago and they were great, save for a few stinkers from the reunion record. NA's thanks lists were a great introduction to Metal and Hardcore bands, particularly from NYC.

First band I ever saw live (supporting Slayer in '8Cool been a favourite for years. game over, the plague and survive are essential.

Don't usually enjoy bands in this style, but Nuclear Assault rules.

They were one of the first bands besides S.O.D, Crumbsuckers, C.O.C. (Animosity-era), etc to make crossover metal known and get metal kids like me in other cities, to also check out and like and venture out to hardcore punk shows. The people who went to HC gigs were a lot different than metalheads; HC folks would come up and make friends with you if you were alone, and not want a thing from you or be a mooch.

One of the ways NUCLEAR ASSAULT proved to still be a very cool band is they PACKED their Louder, Faster, Harder DVD with a ton of stuff, a lot of footage, including a bootleggy show from CBGB's and another in 1985.
