This LP compiles the two demos of this pre Nausea band. I was never the hugest fan of the NY Nausea, but I picked up this LP on a lark when the guy who helped put together the layout for this told me the second demo was influenced heavily by early Teutonic thrash and I was pleasantly surprised.
The first side is straight forward Discharge/Crucifix style hardcore with a handful of tunes that would go on to be Nausea songs. Side two is a pretty unique take on crossover, sounding like the aforementioned bands in a drunken fracas with Sodom. Considering that "Blackened D-Beat" is a thing now, it's cool to hear something akin to that sound from an era when those genres were still new. Of course there was the UK Sacrilege, The English Dogs and Onslaught mixing a UK punk sound with metal at the time, but this is something a lot rawer and vile sounding. It's pretty great.

Here's an interview with the guitarist, Victor Venom who also played in Reagan Youth, Nausea and Chaos UK:

Yeah this LP looks cool. It was released by the same guys who did the Black Task LP.

Ah, that makes sense. Cooch from Painkiller was the guy who helped put the layout together.

Got mine and the B-side is the best demo for sure. Pity they didn't use the logo from the label on the cover, much better version.
