8 Euros for the standard version might not be that cheap, but it' s still fine.

People seem to forget they are not just buying a packaging but also a creative work of art, which, guess what, they can actually listen to!

So there´s more to it than a "spine" which looks nice and readable with your CD collection on your shelves...

If Famine earns some money from this, it´s well deserved.

He also already said that he pay taxes on the sales. This explain why the prices are "bigger" than a little distro....

8 euros is nothing but reasonable for a CD.
(But I'm fuckin disappointed about the lyrics absence)

Agree with two last replies! Fuck, just a xerox insert with lyrics would have been AWESOME! Evil or Very Mad

I would have paid 8 Euro for just the disc and inserts made for a jewel case, even if they were just xeroxed... then assemble yourself at home. Now that would have been the cult way to poor man sell the album.

Fuck it, all whining aside of the two formats, the actual album us fucking good. Yea I stole it off the interweb system, but now I kinda want to buy the elite version cause the thing is wicked... or buy that shitty promo version and print my own xerox looking jewel case inserts haha, so I can at least find the fucking thing on the shelf again. Wink

So, is that really guy from Woods of Infinity doing guest vocals or is Famine just trying to imitate him?

Good album once again. The vocals are a handful though. A little over the top perhaps?

I'm loving the new album, so far. The bass and drums are particularly satisfying, although the latter was known as soon as it was announced that Ardraos would be added to the line-up. I'm also glad Famine, despite losing Indria to the Grand Alcest World Tour Machine™, actually played the bass instead of burying it under infinite layers of guitar distortion Immortal-style.

At this point, L'Ordure ŕ l'état Pur is still my favourite, mostly because of how self-aware it is, and for the simple reason that I prefer long song lenghts.

I also got the nouveau riche edition, and with the packaging, the artwork and all of the little details, it is definitely worth its price. Not to mention the music itself, of course.

They are over-the-top a bit I suppose, but I like that. Totally obnoxious!haha

Aye nice to hear the bass, but still kind of miss Indria..

Anyway, got the richie rich version and well worth it; can't get the tracks out of my head.
