Bethlehem albums are coming out on PIC LP Boxset, sooner or later.

From Facebook Bethlehem Official:

Herewith we have to inform that the announced Bethlehem Picture LP Boxset will NOT be released by Sacrilege Records as planned.
After a series of postponements and shortcomings, we decided to end this cooperation.
Of course we are very sorry, coz we invested a lot of work and energy in this product.
This release is very important to us, but also a reliable and trustworthy cooperation with our partners.
At least we owe you this.
Currently we are checking alternatives and as soon as possible
we will determine a specific release date.

Thank you for your understanding!

Bethlehem

Listening to Dark Metal now as a result of this thread being topped. Really great album, a favorite from that era for me. I'd possibly buy a reissue, but I also have the original Adipocere cd pressing that has the 7" tracks as a bonus so I won't waste my time if it's an inferior version.

This needs a deluxe vinyl treatment.

One of the best albums ever

Agreed! I'd buy a deluxe vinyl in a heartbeat! Really deserves some proper treatment.

A vinyl repress would be very welcome. The Red Stream cd has a terrible sound.

Do you mean the remastered digi-pak version?
I have the 1997 version and it does not sound that bad.

Yeah, the digi-pack. There's an annoying background noise in places.

My copy of DM came from a friend's copy, I think it was the digipak one. Either way it has to be one of the most excessively loudly mastered things I've ever heard.

I have scoured the Prophecy Productions website and there is no mention of them doing the Dark Metal reissue Lp

Any updates on this?

That one is the worst remaster I've ever heard! The original CD sounds vastly superior. I'll tape it for you for the next time I see you if you want?
