Anyone on this board is an avid book reader? (No matter what kind of books)
Let us discuss about reading, buying, collecting books.
And about preferences, or unknown, forgotten and weird authors, etc...

Yeah, I have a small collection of books - my book collection doesn't grow as fast as my CD collection because it takes longer to read the books, haha. I'm in the middle of The History of Magic by Kurt Seligmann, very interesting book on the history of magic, the occult, ancient religions and beliefs.
On my next-to-read list right now are Blavatsky's Isis Unveiled and The Secret Doctrine, Agrippa's De Occulta Philosophia Libri Tres and Ophiolatreia (anonymous). |

I'm not as much of an obsessive reader as I'd like to be but I still enjoy reading when I can and there are many authors I hope to read soon. For some reason at the moment I really want to read more sci fi and swords and sorcery stuff so have some people listed to read soon.
A few authors I have enjoyed in the past have been Robert E. Howard, H.P. Lovecraft, J.R.R. Tolkien. Also stuff like mythology, especially Norse I'm interested in, but I like reading stuff on folklore and historical paganism and the practices before the arrival of Christianity. I'm also a fan of getting graphic novels (not enough of a comic obsessive to get weeklys and the like). I may as well list the likes of Hellboy, Preacher, Sandman, Spawn, Slaine, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Batman: The Killing Joke, V For Vendetta to name a few.
Yes I am a fucking geek! |

I've a very disjointed book collection, I'm not a completist like I am with my music, but I very much enjoy collecting and reading. I don't read half as much as I would like (I waste too much time on forums) but I do read every day. |

Mostly Cheap but Some older books of Course, cause of Political Matter
or limitation or no interest in it.
As Example the Book about Runes from Walter Sommer was
Burned from the Nationalsocialists and then nobody till now
have interest to put it again on the Market
Interesting about it, Wiligut has taken very much from this
book in his own writings.
Social :
Siege
Secret King
Apocalyspe Cultur I + II
Cult Rapture
Might is Right
Music:
Lyric Book from The Moon Lay Hidden
Arcana Eco from Ataraxia
Problem is, mostly you must read very much to get all these and
you must have really Interest in it. Not only read a book in
some month or to say, " i have it, cool "
So if you get some devieces about for example Books from
Houston Chamberlain (i think they are a Basic for NS Interested
Persons after all, for or against NS both) you need really some
time to read all of them. Nothing you can get for some hours at
listening to a Revenge LP and thats all
I think for people who are interested in political or Social Matters
(past or future) you should read for example:
Marx
Chamberlain, Houston
Rosenberg (some are interesting, not really all)
Spengler
Luddendorff (i have several issues from a Monthly Magazin)
Benoist
From Philosphical Stuff:
Schoppenhauer
Kant
(by the way, Nietzsche is no real "Standart Philosoph" at all)
Esoterical Stuff:
Helena Blavatksy (i think is basic for mostly all newer Esi stuff, so if
someone have Problems to understand this....)
Peryt Shou
Frey Aswynn
Stephen Flowers (and all Pseudonyms)
And all this Literature like
Lovecraft, Poe, Stocker, Umberto Eco (genius Writer!!!), Doyle,
or such like Battletech Saga or Dragonlance Sage
there are thousands of books _________________ Black Bunker Blog |
