You mean like for documentaries or movie trailers or dubbed anime or all of the above? Sounds cool, anyway...! |
Any of the above, though true voiceover (commercials, etc) is the stuff I'm most likely to get right now. There aren't that many voice acting opportunities in my city (that stuff's mostly in NYC and LA, with a lot of anime work happening in TX because of Funimation) and people who don't already have long VO/VA resumes usually have to have stage or screen acting experience before anyone will even bother auditioning them for VA stuff. |

Those dubbings sux BTW.
Back on topic, I quit my job at a call center weeks ago, now I'm doing PC maintenance for lawyers and accountants, those people pay more for being a trustworthy person than for the actual work. I'm also in the last year of the EN/SP translation course, will probably go for the IT/SP after that. _________________ IXTAB wrote: | Lots or retarded shit on the forum today. |

Garbage Man or Sanitation Engineer when we go looking for raises.
Have my 4th class power engineering certificate from SAIT. Used to work in that field as a Plant Operator at a Incineration facility for hazerdous chemical waste disposal. Via that career I was also part of the emergency response team and subsequently have some industrial fire fighting training and certification as well. Oh how the beautiful flames do flicker.

I am a funeral director/embalmer, a well as a paraprofessional in grief counseling. I work both with families making funeral arrangements and I do the preparation of bodies for viewing and burial. I'm also decent with restorative work; putting people's faces back together due to trauma, etc...
Part of my job also involves arranging the funerals and handling everything during the service, etc... Driving the hearse to the cemetery.
I work a pretty demanding on-call schedule, I will get calls at all hours to go pick up bodies from hospitals, morgues, hospices, residences, etc...
It's a pretty interesting career. I've seen all kinds of gruesome shit I'll never unsee and its stressful as fuck dealing with the grief counseling aspect.
I'm also a freelance graphic designer. _________________ RSTLSS NRV Layout & Design |
