Does it really matter? They play with a true old-school spirit and the music is as close to "Oath..." Beherit as anyone could come. |
Last demo tape is much more than BEHERIT worship... |

Band name changes.. umm, well, it's unforseen for sure and certainly unneccesary for sure. But whatever I guess. Black Feast was actually good. So was the name before it though. |

I agree, but should have clarified that they capture the essence of that period of Beherit perfectly. _________________

Great band, they mimic Beherit so well that it is absolute pointless to listen Black Feast at all. Would be interesting to see live though. Name change is really odd, now its super generic, I forgot it already while typing this message. |

This thread made me play my Worship of Darkness demo again. Good stuff. Beherit fans could do a lot worse. _________________ "If noise means uncomfortable sound. Then pop is noise to me" - Masami Akita. |

It's not like "Black Feast" was very creative/original to begin with..
Also, I don't really understand your first sentence. They're a great band, but listening to them is pointless? Huh?
I have no problem with the name change, it's not any better or worse, so whatever.
I still need to grab "Black Bond with the Devil's Blood". |

It could be as well put in a way that it's not a band you might listen at home but still something to check out live and very enjoyable.
And yes, the name change is quite vitun turha. _________________ Heavy Metal Nuts

"Of Doom" was the better name ...
Nevertheless, this band is great ... _________________ GoodDealswith

Black Feast was a great name, but so is Blasphemous Witchcraft.
I have no doubt the music will remain great!

The band name is now shortened to "Witchcraft", pretty sure they would have chosen a different name if they had access to internet. There´s 13 bands with that name in Metal Archives alone, not even including the famous swedish retro rock band. |
