Once the previous thread expired without flourishing with countless longbox collection pictures, here's the new one. Please get in touch anyone who might help build metal longbox museum! I will pay well for any empty death and thrash metal cd longboxes!!!

Does the fact that I don't know what a cd longbox is make me even dumber than I already am?

Hmm, there was a store that used to have a VOIVOD Outer Limits longbox here... I'll try to find it - althought it is not the best album. Which ones do you have already? It's an interesting idea you've got! Laughing

Haha! Shit, I remember those things, just never knew what they were called. I remember that most CDs had them as packaging. But thank you, I feel younger now.

There are hardly any to be found anywhere.

I had an original Sadus - 'Chemical Exposure' long box, sealed.
Like an idiot I opened it.
I figured I could pick up another one fro the .99 cents store, saddly there were no longer for sale.

But really, no modern bands seem to make this type of packaging anymore..

I have Goatlord s/t CD still sealed in a long box.

I also have the 2" reel for the album sitting in the garage. I need to transfer it and see if Mitch Harris' vocals are on it.

The "Acts of the Unspeakable" long box is always on eBay.

A record store out here still has the long boxes for shit like Metallica, Slayer, Ozzy, etc. out. They have no discs in them though, I have no idea why they have them in the bins.

I never asked about buying them. More clutter I don't need and these record shop owners get dollar signs in their eyes when you show interest in shit like that.
