Currently jamming Don Dokken's Up From the Ashes with John Norum on guitar and Appice on drums. Really great LP.
Also very much into the second Fifth Angel album Time Will Tell.

Is this the soundtrack of The Emoji Movie? Seems fitting as both are cancer incarnate. |

Warlord is killer, but not really shredding.
Edit: Up From the Ashes has Dee on drums, not Appice. |

I don't think Fifth Angel's shredding at all. Even though it's not what you're looking for, it's worth checking out Eddie Ojeda's (Twisted Sister) solo album. This one's more in a hard rock-ish type of vein but its best songs are the instrumental ones, Axes 2 Axes and Crosstown _________________ Sic transit gloria mundi |
