Anyone here like to read these kind of comics? looking for more things of this nature. just finished the first volume of Crossed, now reading the Re-animator comics.
Also a big fan of Spawn comics and the crime comic Sam and Twitch. Sorry for a thread that has nothing to do with metal or any music, Just figured someone on here might know a thing or two about what im looking for.

Suehiro Marou - Ultra Gash Inferno Twisted Evil

Japanese horror meets European Surrealism meets Marquie De Sade. Horrible things beautifully drawn.

thanks for that suggestion, Ill definitely check that out.

Forgot to mention Junji Ito. Probabbly pretty well known. Ive read most Junji Ito's comics and they have a very genuine horror feel.

Violence + art = BLADE OF THE IMMORTAL

Moreover the characters are very charismatic and original. This manga is a gem. Hiroaki Samura has some wonderful twisted ideas sometimes...

How can you beat that?

Satanika
Death Dealer
Verotika

Not sure if Danzig's comic company still is operational or not, or if that Satanika movie ever manifested.

Heavy Metal Illustrated is about my only comic reading now, lest the Star Wars comics I buy for my son count. Wink

I highly recommend Tom of Finland.

They're short stories about men getting caught in "tight" situations. There's nazis, whipping, rape etc. etc. Some people say that there's a slight homoerotic tension in these comics so be warned (haven't really noticed any by myself)

This is a good place to start:

Dead World has some pretty good Vince Locke art, even though the story is kinda shit. And read anything Bruce Corben ever did. None of his comics are exactly gore, but he has some pretty violent ones. And he's the best comic book artist ever, period.

wish i had some extra money laying around so i could just own these and not read it on my computer screen. Totally my favorite comic series, awesome story line about some hard boiled nypd murder detectives, most fun ive had reading a comic by far. cant say enough about this series.
