| If rap were acapella I'd enjoy it more. It's all about lyrical skill and 99.9% of "rappers" suck at it, fuck all that other nonsense. |

It is ironic though that most people in the gangster rap or fans of said bands are probably actually more dangerous than any metalhead could ever dream or hope of being.
Not that being a thug is ideal, but it makes one wonder who would prevail if both sides had to go a round or two. |

| Ill Bill and Necro rule and I think it's cool that they are huge metalheads (both played in Injustice). Typical of metal fans to have a problem with metal influencing rap in any way, shape, or form. |

Most gang members aren't into UG music, as most of them are in prison or too busy selling crack to their own kind. most rap and hip hop fans are white, even though it's a mostly black thing. |

| I've met people from the projects who were into rougher-edged underground styles of rap but none of them were gang members. I don't know how extensively they were into it though. You're basically right. Most people I know that are heavily into underground hip hop are white. |

I've been to prison a bunch of times (not because I am dangerous or kvlt, I am a social worker visiting clients) and when you walk out into 'the range' and there's one side tattooed gruff biker dudes and the other side is all thug life dudes, both sides just staring each other down you know most metal posturing grimmness is a total joke....
At least that's how I felt
But yeah, the word "most" in your statement needs considerable revision _________________ http://www.last.fm/user/ngadke |
