I also hate those envelope like LP mailers from the UK. |
yeah you do, but I must say that last ULVER "madrigals.." LP/CD re-ish on...(I think Century?)...was an INSULTING package...you couldn't even send a pizza in THAT box.
Particularly avaricious in it's overt effort to SIMULATE something ov the quality of, say, an nwn MYSTIFIER box (which IS a B.O.X.), but minus THE VALUE, with the two (good) discs floating around inside like flakes in a snowglobe. _________________ http://nondornevai.com/news.html |

Yes! I own several cds whose covers were bathed in piss (don't bother asking..) and ensured the booklets stuck to the inside and are now ruined. Tough shit. I still have the cds to enjoy so who fucking cares, eh? On the other hand I received a copy of 'Emperor's Return' today wrapped in a cereal packet stuffed with 4 jiffy envelopes and barely held together by sellotape. Some people are just dullards. Ugh. _________________

That distro has the worst packing method ever. Indeed, a pizza box is way better than those shitty boxes he uses. Completly banned from my distros list. _________________ Good deals: dawid |

I ordered several LPs (5-7) from Perverted Taste a few years back, got sent the LPs in between two pieces of cardboard with a crazy amount of tape around holding it together. Several of the corners were bent, but after a few years of being lodged between other records on the shelf or in a crate they look alright.
I do always enjoy getting random newspapers from other countries with overseas orders. Neat to see how different from The Tennessean they are. _________________ Good sellers/traders: metalmac, greenmonster, Transcendence, GoldenBull, Paria

I ordered a bunch of soviet surplus Paper in Oil capacitors a little while ago, and got a kick out of the Ukranian comic strips! |
