Listening to Funeral - Forgotten Abominations on 33 right now..... fuck.
Mysterion Tés Anomias next. Doubt it will sound as good as Funeral though. Those who got the Funeral records seriously need to spin in on 33, the intro is even better than on regular speed, and the vocals are not of this world. Except for the double kicker and blast beats, this might as well sound better than the regular speed.
This could make an interesting thread. |

His Hero Is Gone, I've always found their recordings sound good when accidentally thrown on at the wrong speed. In the same situation I was impressed with the Disma - Vault... LP when I accidentally played it on 33. |

Protector sounds good on both speeds, most of the time. |

I remember when Grotesque released Incantation vinyl on Dolores rec back in the 1990.
There was no info about rpm it should have been played anywhere. Well, I listened it various times on 33 and then 45 and after careful listening I decided that it has to be played at 33. Sounded soooo much better at 33.
After years I discovered that it was meant to be played at 45. Fuck it, the whole brutal extremely slow death metal experience of my life, killer album of a decade was ruined forever. |

Nothing to add off the top of my head, but I'll be goddamned if this isn't the best fucking idea for a thread in a long, long time. |

??? Original MLP plays at 33, not 45. Unless you mean the picture disc (which I don't have anymore). _________________ Heavy Metal Nuts

Mortician on 33 invokes the brown note.
Actually scratch that, Mortician's entire discography is one big wet bowel movement caught on tape. _________________

I recall Alice Cooper "bed of nails" sounding pretty sinister on 33rpm _________________ Buy my KVLT: http://www.nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=60310

I pretty much enjoyed listening Morbid's Ancient Morbidity EP at 33 rpm. Sounds really great and natural.
Also, another great example:
