The entire album is streaming and this thing is an absolute beast. Former Morpheus Descends drummer Sam Inzera definitely puts his stamp on this (now if only someone would do proper MD reissues). Gotta love well done NYDM: it's superheavy without being too murky and percussive without useless breakdowns. So how about a tour with Funerus, Disma and Incantation? Anyone? |

I actually emailed Rob Yench and some sort of MD reissues are definitely in the works. On topic, this album crushes. _________________ www.contagionreleasing.com |

Yeah, I listened to this stream two days ago. Pretty punishing. I am going to try to get some copies.
I heard MD stuff is in the works too. _________________

Not as good as this one, but it's good.
Also, the initial post calls this "NYDM"-- Funerus was a band from the Pittsburgh area since its inception. They somehow managed to kick Brad Heiple out of his own band, and now it's essentially an Incantation side project. Abysme is pretty much the "true" Funerus, if we're talking about the original band. |
