| What makes me laugh is how Jeff is "believed" to have gotten necrotising whatever from a spider bite. They don't even know for sure how their own guitarist got a flesh eating virus? |

Slayer without Dave is sucky, but not "the end" at all.
Listen to DIVINE INTERVENTION and notice how amazing PB is on that record. _________________ We Are Satan's Generation And We Don't Give A Fuck! |

| Excellent! Maybe this will free him up to do more Stuff with Fantomas and Zorn which are way better than anything Slayer has done since South of Heaven. |

This said, Slayer are a terrible band nowadays. Its been 20 years since they actually released something good.
Ps.: and this sounds like Kerry has been sucking up all that tour money, desguised as "management expenses, etc". |
yep it is funny about King, and exactly my thoughts... but other side of coin that he always disliked Lombardo.
And about replacement of Lombardo, i guess not so true... even if them tighten up it was more accident i guess.. If you look at Lombardo perfomance, he even dont try to hard, i guess main reason cause band cannot/ wouldnt do it in proper way at any case |

Last time I saw Slayer, which was a couple of years ago (at the very festival in question), they were actually fucking awesome.
EDIT: Just read that Gary Holt is STILL playing with Slayer, when I saw them at the festival mentioned above he was just starting out with them _________________ Ignivomous merch: abaddon_963[at]hotmail.com

| Im starting to wonder if money is the only issue since dave did anounce how the best bit of the last few tours has been jamming with gary during soundcheck, talking about doing a project with gary and saying how slayer sounded far tighter with gary, I think there is an element of rank closing in this! |

From this article i learned that Gary Holt of Exodus is playing in slayer, and the drummer from Anthrax was replaced by the same dude replacing slayer.
Probably a sign all these US thrash bands just need to call it a day. They already inbreed to keep their paychecks. I haven't been interested in mid/late 40's guys working their dayjob for years now. |
