The dream: Prague Death Mass then a few days later HELLSPLEASURE in East Germany...

Dream indeed. No way I will get 10/12 days off work to hit both. And I cannot imagine how destroyed my body would be after that time on the sauce in Czech and Germany
Both fest shaping up great but will have to be one or the other for me I'm afraid... |

Staropramen, Gambrinus, Krušovice and other "major" beers = beers to avoid at any cost. There are many great beers from small breweries.
For some useful information I recommend this blog

Ticket ordered. Gonna be great seeing Negative Plane again. Now to do the flights/hotels.
I have been to Prague before, stayed in a nice apartment, but it was a few years ago and have no memory of where it was or how I booked it. There is a link on the first page to a hotel site. As the venue looks fairly central in Prague 5 I suppose anywhere in the link that says it is central will suffice....
Or any insider tips on good places/districts to stay in appreciated...
Is Czech beer mainly lager/pilsner type stuff? Worst thing about going to Europe (apart from Germany) is having to drink the local piss...
Give us the names of proper beer/ales! There has to be some, don't the Czechs drink the most in the world? |
