I emailed Tumult about that DLP years ago and the response was that they plan to do a repress, but that was more than 5 years ago. I don't think that reissue is coming. New label time!

We were fucked over on this deal.
Spent 6 months courting these guys, got the rights unlocked with Necropolis in a long Skype call (which took about 3 months of work to get the guy to chat). TONS of work put in, including sending freebie copies of some of our stuff to the band and planned a trip to Sweden to meet them (bought tickets).
It was the WORST deal I've ever been involved in.
They chose Century Media over us because they thought CM could sell enough mp3s to put their kids through college. Psht. Stupidest fucking thing I've ever heard.

WTF. MP3 sales!? Are they being fucking serious? Assuming college costs around £7,000 per year (as it does for me in the UK) and all four members have one child, once factoring into equation that the album has a mere 7 tracks and an MP3 track is typically priced at £0.89 at Amazon (price taken from Nachtmystium's album released by CM - also: fuck Nachtmystium), the following math can be done:
College cost (for 2 years) for all 4 kids: £56,000
Typical cost of an MP3 track: £0.89
Assuming 20% of that goes to the artist: £0.18
Therefore, typical cost of a 7-track album: £6.23
Assuming 20% of that goes to the artist: £1.25
Therefore, it would take 311,111 MP3 tracks to be purchased for all 4 kids to go to college for two years (assuming college means university) or 44,800 full albums (assuming no discount applies for purchasing a full MP3 album at once).
Fuck that shit right up the ass. I do not think Dawn are that popular. |

Basically CM gave them a better deal than Blood Music- I would guess it's based around a royalty on an unlimited cd release and a sizeable lp release rather than going with Blood Musics usual keep it ultra limited 500 copies max on vinyl. Therefore Century Media would give the band more money. Common sense really. |
