I think this is it. This band would probably benefit from a more oldschool production. |

True. A little more less polished perfect would fit them better for sure.
I posted but deleted a earlier comment quickly trying to word something like that, they would most certainly benefit a less modern style of production indeed. | Yup, I like HOB's stuff a lot as well, but I wish HOB, Asphyx and GSBC would NOT let Dan Swano fukk around with the sound of all of these 3 bands (or at all). Same about the last Incantation album, by the way. |

I'm pretty much in the same boat with everyone. The modern production really kills their sound. _________________

No it's not.
And yes I have agree with many others who already said it. Sound production is too modern and clinical, like with the latest Asphyx albums. _________________

| Have both albums, but the debut is far superior to the follow-up. Absolutely stunning live band! Looking forward to the new one ... |

Grand Supreme Blood Court is a Killer LP. Better than HoB. |

HOB bored me to death, just as GSBC....
I think it's quite funny that there is 3 exact the same bands (Apshyx, HoB and GSBC), with the same people (with 1 or 2 extra guys) that are making the SAME music, SAME lyrics and SAME theme....
why the hell didn't they just mold all those bands into 1 solid band with good tracks? _________________ www.grafherrie.nl |

I think the production on the last two Asphyx is less plastic than on HoB. Then again, I'd probably still like Deathhammer and Death.. even if they had been recorded on a $50 handable Sony device. _________________ Thread derailed

Interested in trading a dub of Apokalypsimz for a dub of Purpurearagotamiceps?
I want that Balwezo Westijiz–Urkraftens Mystik LP but wanted to get it with the Bekëth Nexëhmü |

I don't mind the 'cleaner' production. I've liked the band right from the beginning but had no idea that they will become a well established act. It's more modern sounding without losing too much of the 'classic' elements. I'm glad it's not a clone of old Asphyx and/or Pestilence. The 'resurrected' Pestilence on the other hand is weaker than most modern DM bands these days. _________________

They have some killer songs, but I enjoyed the GSBC LP more. _________________ http://churchofdisgust.bandcamp.com - ROTTEN DEATH METAL
