"Actually releasing". I've got my stuff always when I've placed my pre-order. Obviously you don't know shit about releasing albums, there are tons of factors that can delay everything. Sure, pre-orders are not necessary but it's been explained before that they are offered for those who want to secure a copy. If you need everything delivered asap within two days, keep on using Amazon and forget underground metal mailorders.

And yes, you still seem like an troll and a whiner. Fetch the rope!

Read again; I'm not complaining about the question of taking pre-orders or not in general, but just in this case of ssp. I mean: Christian Kramer announced and took pre-orders for some releases over a year ago now, which people paid for. instead of working on them and actually releasing them, all he does is take pre-order for other, new upcoming releases. and it's not just delay on one single release. this happens continuously, as you might have noticed in every thread people asking "when will XXX be released", "what's the status of YYY", "I've pre-ordered ZZZ half a year ago, still nothing"......

well actually ALL of his releases are always delayed. read the first post for their updates. read the history of SSP posts on this board + other boards. all have umpteem reasons for delay, yet all of his posts announce upcoming new releases up for pre-order. one could suspect pre-order money is used to pay off the previous release or some strange construction Wink for example now batch of SOL/Vaginal Jesus is being pushed back because of release of Revenge + other cassettes. both are announced MONTHS ago and people paid for it. it is not difficult to press and duplicate a couple of cassettes at a factory Wink instead, he posted a whole bunch of NEW upcoming releases and announced taking new preo-orders for them.

anyway I'm not here to change anyones mind, just my observation. I don't care enough and will not post any further.

did you ever release a vinyl yourself? there is always delays with this.

even if he takes pre orders or has delays or whatever, there isn't many like Mr. SSP wich are dedicated to the underground as him and actually know how to pack records! quite the complaining and have a little patience, i am more then 100% sure that each who has ordered from him will get his package!
or are you just a couple of little babies who always got everything from mother and father immediatly????!!!!!!!

When you take preorders, you can expect people to inform about the status and all. It comes with the deal..

Even if I respect SSP and Kramer for the work he does, one can't deny Deathexecution has a point there!

Why posting here in the first place, then? Typical Troll-attitude. Rolling Eyes

Good riddance!

@Topic: I am aware of the many problems A. Kramer was/is facing, and yet he always manages to come out on top of it all. Nothing but respect and support for this man!

I have paid for some pre-orders myself, months ago, but will patiently wait for the releases to come out eventually. As they always did, and will always do.

I've always received my stuff from SSP on pre-orders. It's never been a problem at all. You're either going to wait until it comes out and order it, or get the ordering out of the way and then just wait for it to come out. It's not like $20 for a pre-order is going to somehow break me. If you don't want to pre-order an item, that's fine, but don't come here and act like Kramer's some fucking ripoff. There's no evidence of that whatsoever. Quite the opposite.

Also, what release was up for pre-order for a year? The longest one I can think of would be the SOL 12", and that's only been a few months.

Regarding the insinuations of Meister Kramer being some kind of subhuman metalhead scam artist, I'll gladly offer this story: I ordered a vinyl version of Feldgrau. A month later it had still not arrived. I mail Kramer to explain the situation, stating I'll wait another week for it to arrive (yes, I did say another week as, unlike consumer metal head spastics who are addicted to buying more and more of the same shit ad nauseum and receiving it right a-fucking-way, I'm a patient individual). Kramer then responded the next day telling me he'd already sent out a replacement copy and to keep them both if they both arrived. To further add credibility to the plight surrounding SSP, some months later the item in question was returned to Kramer after my address in the UK had been crossed out and then posted to Australia. The moral of the story is don't be a whining cunt and have some faith before you start complaining about shit. End story.

how about getting your stuff together and actually releasing something instead of only ever announcing new pre-order after pre-order after pre-order?? people are waiting over a year for items they paid for since you first announced some stuff. yet all that comes up is announcing of new items "send to press soon, pre-order now!", it's fishy. whatever problems you have right now does not explain why certain releases announced a year ago, are still not available and still "waiting approval", "waiting layout", "waiting tesptress" etc.

before anyone replies again with "fuck off troll" etc etc, I got a ton of private messages of people who agree, so I'm not the only one who thinks this Wink

Since you obviously have a crush on me and respond to every thread I write or am mentioned in, I will give you the attention that you crave so badly, H.

The facts are:
- Pre-orders do NOT pay for the releases. Never have. Never will. They are always at press at paid before either partially (50% down is the norm) or in full before the pre-order even goes into effect. That is how the pre-order prices are determined.

- There has NEVER been a wait longer than 5 months MAX for a pre-order to ship after being paid for. And again, that is not in any way shape or form a fault of mine. The SOL/VJ/TTW that are delayed now, were pushed back AT THE PLANT. My job is to prepare the masters and artwork and send to the appropriate parties to produce. Once it is out of my hands and in the hands of the plant, I am at their mercy. If they are delayed, I am delayed. Delays happen. Was just informed not 10 minutes ago that "Record Store Day Releases" just flooded the 2 plants I use and there could be an even LONGER delay then what was expected. Not a fucking thing that I can do about it OTHER than pay more money to rush them ahead of the others as THEY did to get ahead of me and my releases.

- The ONLY reason pre-orders are even done, are to make sure that anyone who wants a copy, can get one. When I never took pre-orders, I received COUNTLESS emails from people along the lines of "I can pay for it now, and then just send it to me when out. I have the money NOW and might not then, and do not want to miss out". After around 10-15 releases of having to reply to emails such as that, the decision was made to do pre-orders for every release.

- Finally, pre-orders are more of a hassle than any non label owner can EVER understand. Having to keep track of orders that more than likely contain items that are limited and in stock NOW, but may be sold out by the time the pre-order items arrive, having people move in between pre-orders and having to keep track of which address to ship to, having the plants delay the releases and getting email after email from people asking "is this shipping yet?" when in the original announcement it is ALWAYS CLEARLY WRITTEN that when they are out, an announcement will be made.

If there is NO announcement saying that they are out and shipping, then they are NOT out and shipping. I ALWAYS keep everyone updated on the progress, but I do NOT have the time to respond to 50 emails a day asking for updates on pre-orders when again, it is CLEARLY stated that when they are out, an announcement will be made. In between then, email updates as well as forum updates are always made.

Bottom line: I have devoted my life to the underground and have sacrificed EVERYTHING to release this music and art that has been my life for well over 20 years. Never once has anyone been ripped off. Never once have I hid or apologized for anything, nor will I.

Hope all is cleared up, H......
