To all of you who voted for Wrath: I wonder what version you prefer. The wild rags version mastered from a tape or the 98 remaster? |

Fortunately I never heard remastered version and hope will never do. Remastering old tape recordings is blasphemy. Dot. _________________ Kiss My Coffin!

It's Samoth. Havard had been out of the band for a few years by this point. |

Technically you could consider it the only "properly mastered" release as it's made directly from the original source. Not just a random copy of the demo like the Wild Rags version. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. |

Anyone here Emperor-crazed enough to be going to the 20th anniversary show of ITNE? |

Wacken was a pile of shit this year.. I mean, it has always been pretty shitty, but if this is a new trend, Emperor will be the only band worth watching next year, and that would be if the emperor from 15 years ago was playing. As an Emperor fan, I have no interest in watching them sully the band's career and become another one of these washed up reunion bands playing alongside Crimson Shadows and Eskimo Callboy. I'll probably cave and end up watching the stupid show on youtube though. |

I voted for Anthems, it was an important gateway album for my transition from listening to bands like Metallica to extreme metal. The production values and the key boards are in poor taste, but the compositions outshine those of their earlier stuff, all of which rule btw. Great band, great discography. |

I voted for Equalibrium. I found Nightside in a used record store when it came out and same with Anthems. Always liked them but Equalibrium was what pulled me in and made me go back and listen to their previous works. _________________ These times I fuck for sure! |

I voted Anthems because this was the first album I ever listened from Emperor. In the Nightside Eclipse is a good album and is more related to black metal than the following Emperor albums but Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk definitely took the norwegian black metal to a more sophisticated level regarding composition and musicianship. |

Voted for the ep. Couldn't believe that in spring 1993 when got released.
and thought this can never get commercialised ....
then "Wrath of the Tyrant.!
after the ep. their sound became too clean and they bores me. |
