The music isn't as good as it's made out to be... couple of heavy tracks. The packaging is killer though ridiculously lavish looking/feeling with the velvet style cover and foil printing (even on the spine), but the only info on the band is on the tiny sticker on the front- if you're going to go to the trouble of unearthing an unknown band, at least some sort of booklet/liner notes is essential. _________________ TOTAL SUPPORT TO BLASPHEMOUS LUST |

Completely agree. I came across this in my local record store over the weekend; Couldn't find any info on them, the owner didn't know anything about it. I bought it because of the info on the sticker and the packaging. It's good and reasonably enjoyable but not worth the price for me... |

Since it was released by Numero it shouldn't be long until Amazon stocks them. _________________ Taphephobia Productions |

The full song sample they posted sounds great. Unfortunately, they only posted the first 30 seconds of all the other songs, but I figured that first song would be a better indicator of the quality of the album than the abbreviated intros. I agree that they should have included some kind of historical documentation of the band if they are going to unearth something like this, but I'll reserve judgment until it actually arrives. |

It seems like they had a lot of old photos and artwork to work with but only included a few with the LP. Take a look at the youtube vid the label posted. The entire layout is very tastefully done. A zine booklet with biography and photos would've been nice though. _________________ Contact: nwnprod@gmail.com

Got the Medusa lp yesterday. DAMN! this release is a work of art. Plush velvet with colored foil embossed, easily rivals some BBT&D deluxe lps, say in the vein of their Gaskin lp with the textured cover.
Music is so good, kind of a bastard stepchild of Sorcery 'Sinister Soldiers'. The bside does have a kind of weak-ish ballad but it doesn't effect the rest of the music captured here. Go buy it now....
I posted about it on the corroseum and included some details:
The Numero Group this year are releasing some great old US heavy/hard rock, you might want to look into it:
Medusa (US) lp 1975, a song is here:
https://soundcloud.com/biz-3-publicity/medusa-strangulation
and someone posted photos here:
http://terminal-boredom.com/forums/index.php?topic=38255.0
Don't forget Wicked Lester
Wicked Lester (US) 2X7" 'You are Doomed", this is their known 7" + unreleased acetate in a gatefold cover, info & clips here:
http://www.numerogroup.com/catalog_detail.php?uid=01484
got the Wicked Lester today, killer old hard rock,, loved it. If you have some of the thick cover OPM 2lp releases, imagine that only 7" size.
2nd photo is cropped due to my scanner.
