| Probably the first time in over a year I've listened to Hypocrisy and I just reminded myself of how absolutely fucking decimating this band once was. Masse Broberg's death metal vocals are far better than any of the black metal vocals he went on to do and some of the riffs from tracks such as Left to Rot and Pleasure of Molestation are fucking vicious. |

One of the few swedish bands I cared about back in my Death Metal days. They had that sharp, angular Deicide-like style I was obsessed with at the time, and a cool Satanic image as the icing on the cake. Osculum Obscenum remains my favorite. The guitar tone is dirty as fuck.

The Fourth Dimension and Abducted are good, yeah. A couple of tracks from The Arrival I also enjoy. None of the alien-themed material gets anywhere near the brutality of the Broberg-era. |

Well, obviously not. They saw the marketing potential of Swedish melodeath and went for it, as far as I'm concerned all their albums delivered the goods -some more than others of course. I'm sure they made a decent living out of it and they deserve it.

| never cared much about them. I remembered Osculum as a good album but was kinda let down when I had it in the car some time ago. Not really bad or anything but I always felt they had more potential, the first two albums kind of sound as if they were holding back a bit. Didn't like the stuff they did afterwards. |

Penetralia = Great
Osculum = Ok
Abducted = Pretty good
Hypocrisy = Good
