The worst are not even worth discussing but I will mention on the other hand that TEARSTAINED can cover Bathory true to form.

Most of Bathory covers are utter crap.
Watain does them well, also Nifelheim's Die In Fire is great.

Impiety completely butchered Sacrifice. Worthless bands like this one should not bother covering legendary bands/songs.

I would tend to say that the majority of cover songs are plainly a waste of resources... There is a little amount of covers which are well done and come up with a certain original element.... On Bathory I would say 99 percent of the covers are totally useless covered by a Black Metal band....

Agreed. Saw them live some months ago, Sacrifice was fucking terrible, I couldn't even recognize the song at first. |
