They weren't a black metal band when they were in south america. All of their black metal output has been as a US band. |

Good US Black Metal bands are few and far between, given the country's contribution to other genres of metal (for example, making a top 5 of US death metal would be pretty fucking tough). There are of course a few legitimately classic US black metal albums though.

So I was coming up with a rough idea of what albums I'd put in my USBM top 5 and it occurred to me that my "top 5 USBM list" would be inferior to all of my other "top 5 lists" no matter what albums I put on there. Funny. And no, I'm not saying we need a "top 5 of top 5" thread...
