These guys have been around for quite some time now, and a lot of their material is for sale dirt cheap at various distros? What is the best place to start with these guys, and why are they so overlooked?

don't know. 'where demons dwell' is a pretty decent mix of old death metal and black metal.

Yep, get their stuff in chronological order and start with the newest CD first. Their best one in my opinion.
