one of the best music-related docos that i've seen. made me appreciate being able to see the band live even more. now i can't listen to the album sub-basement without thinking that bobby named that after his parents basement where he was living. _________________

Dude had it rough. The movie showed Liebling to be like every other junkie I've met. Mooching off his family and friends or the government while doing exactly what he wanted to do (more crack).
Pentagram is one of the best bands of all time, but give me a break on the "tough life" shit. If his dad was a man he'd have tossed his ass out long ago. Crazy how they put up with his shit for so long. |

| Yeah, saying he's had a rough life is sort of a joke. He is (or was) a drug addict who lives in the basement of his parents house in a bourgeois neighborhood. That's not the hardest life by any means. That being said, he lived a pathetic life, and the documentary is great. |

This is more accurate.
Still, none of it has any bearing on the quality of the music for me. _________________ http://www.thehereticstorch.blogspot.com/
