| Unholy Cult could never fully get into the other albums. I wish someone would reissue Unholy Cult on vinyl. |

I still see the pic disc occasionally sitting in distros, so I think you can still find it fairly cheap. For a pic disc, it has pretty good sound.

Thanks but I hate picture discs yeah it's still widely available it's black vinyl I am looking for. I think they even repressed the PIC LP recently  even though the black version sells for 50euro and up on egay. |

I'm a huge Immolation fan, but I think CTAWB is pretty overrated (though i do like it), the albums that precede it are so much better.

Unholy Cult, such a flawless album in every possible way.
The production it's just PERFECT, I can't imagine this album with an Old school sound... No, this abomination was made to fucking crush the listener, the malevolent intro of "Of martyrs and men", followed by the apocalyptic thunder riffs and blast beat are surreal, every part of this album is coherent, nothing is random; not for the weak listener, that's for sure...
Riffs, Drum tempo changes, solos, lyrics... Every element here is insanely perfect.Also the "Clean bass", works fucking good, Ross voice is a demonic cacophony, this guy doesn't need any voice effect to sound like a beast released from hell.
