Oh I own one, I just don't prefer it. Don't have a component stereo right now (or space/money for one) so I have to get out the turntable and hook it up to my computer if I want to listen to or rip a record. It's so tedious that I've gotten to the point of just buying CD versions, unless vinyl is the only option (or I love the release enough to buy both formats).

Cheapo receiver/power source can be purchased at a flea market for dirt cheap.
